Myrtle Kump Nichols Fraughton 2/27/25 ~ 12/27/02 AMERICAN FORK/BLUFFDALE - Myrtle Kump 77 was born February 27, 1925 to Catherine O'Donnell and Jacob Kump. She was the fifth of 10 children. She died at home, American Fork, Fri. Dec. 27, 2002 after her third valiant battle with cancer, her husband and family beside her. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Edward M. Nichols March 8, 1947; later solemized in the LDS Logan Temple Aug. 24, 1950. He passed away Sept. 14, 1968. She married Dana Fraughton May 1, 1987. She is survived by her husband, Dana, American Fork; son, Dennis L. Nichols (Vickie), Bluffdale; daughter, Darlene Davis, Salt Lake; stepson, Jerry (Karen) Fraughton, Parowan; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and she loved them all, her family was her greatest legacy; beloved brothers, Albert, Jay, Glen, Jess; and beloved sisters, Donna, Juanita, Vilate. Her brothers, Edwin and Arlo, preceded her in death. She served in her Church for many years including the sunbeam class consisting of three-years-olds for 23 years straight. She loved little children. They loved her. She loved the youth. She served as the Young Women's President. She served in the Primary teaching the boys. She taught Relief Society.
