    4. [S423] Obituary (Reliability: 3).
      Dearest Family,

Again, I'm sorry to report that another of our sweet sisters, dear aunt, adoring wife, loving mother and caring friend has been called home to her Heavenly Father this morning at 4:05 a.m. into the waiting arms of her parents and sisters, Marian, Carman and Beverly.

During these days, Lorraine has had good days and bad ones but has truly been blessed with no pain (even without medication) with the exception of her last day yesterday. During the good days, Aunt Lorraine was responsive to calls to her name and would open her eyes and look at those present. She would smile that great smile and wave her hand at those in the room. As time advanced, her speaking decreased but until the very end, it was apparent that she could hear when people would speak to her especially when Uncle Rulon would come in and say "how's my sweetheart? Have you got any smooches(sp) for me?" and she would pucker up and give him a kiss. What sweethearts!! During the past period, all of the Ellis children have been at her side and have performed the "night watch" through the long evenings allowing their father to get a few hours of sleep. They have performed a great service to Aunt Lorraine as well as to their sweet dad, Uncle Rulon. He paid great complements to each of them for their love, support and willingness to put everything on hold while they address Aunt Lorraine's critical needs. Thanks Ellis kids for your loving support of your dad during these dark hours. Uncle Bill has also been a great help to the family. Not a day prior to this past Monday had gone by without he being at the hospital at least once and usually several more times. Even after a long day at the temple on Thursday last, he and Aunt Shirlene dropped by late in the evening to see how she was doing. On Monday of this week, while Aunt Janice and I were there visiting Aunt Lorraine, Bill called to see how Lorraine was doing because he was in Salt Lake City for some business. After talking about her state, he asked to talk to her so I put my phone on speaker and he told her he missed her and hoped she was doing ok and that he would be back on Wednesday to see her again and told her that he loved her. In response to hearing him call her name out, she had rolled her head so that the phone was pressing her ear so that she could hear and after his good-by she rolled away again. He really has been a great brother--thanks Bill for your caring and for representing the Wilson family. Suzy was at her bedside when she slipped quietly to the other side of the vail into waiting arms of her three sisters and her parents. Along with the notification of her passing, Uncle Bill informed me that the funeral arrangements now been finalized. A viewing has been scheduled for Friday with the funeral on Saturday. The exact details are as follows: The latest on Aunt Lorraine's funeral arrangements are as follows:

      Viewing at the Mortuary: Friday, 22 Dec 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Viewing at the Chapel: Saturday, 23 December 10:00-10:45 a.m. Memorial Service: Saturday, 23 December 11:00 a.m. Interment: Mountain View Cemetery, in Pocatello Aunt Lorraine is under the care of: Cornelison-Henderson Mortuary 431 N. 15th Street Pocatello, Idaho 83201 Aunt Lorraine's funeral will be at their chapel located on: 1433 Gwen Drive Pocatello, Idaho

We are going to miss our "Aunt Rainny", our "Aunt Lornie" and our sweet Lorraine with her beautiful white hair and a smile that filled all out doors. I remember how she could laugh and cry at the same time --so much like our L'il Ma. Aunt Lorraine has always sought out those who had needs and was there to let them know that they were loved. We already miss her sooo much!

      Love you guys,
      Uncle Bob
