• Photos		Concord Meeting [26 Mar 2006] Status: Located. Photo of Concord Meeting at Concordville, Pennsylvania, originally established in 1686. Concord Meeting was an important part in the Mendenhall and Woodward family history. Richard Woodward Jr married his first two wives (Esther DAVIS, Deborah STANFIELD) in 1695 and 1701. John Mendenhall Sr married his second wife, Esther MADDOCK Dix, at this meeting in 1708. Aaron Mendenhall Sr married his first wife, Rose PIERSON here in 1715. Taken by Chad G. Nichols
  		Mendenhall-Valentine-Edge Home [27 Mar 2006] Status: Located. Photo of the Mendenhall-Valentine-Edge Home at Caln Township. The home was built in three sections during the 18th century. The original west wing was built circa 1721 by Aaron Mendenhall (the original floor is still intact). The remainder of the home was added upon post 1767 by Robert Valentine and descendants. The original property was sold by William Penn to Thomas Musgrave in 1698. The property was confirmed to Hannah Musgrave Price in 1703. Hannah sold the property to Aaron Mendenhall in 1713. Circa 1740 the property was given to Aaron's son, James, perhaps as a wedding gift. In 1762 James sold the property and mill to Robert Valentine Sr and through this transaction the property left the family. The current owner of the home is Jacob Edge; Taken by Chad G. Nichols

Aaron was considered a yeoman, a freely-owned land owner. BURIAL: It is believed that Aaron is buried in the Caln Friends Meeting House Burial Grounds at Thornsdale, Pennsylvania.
